His journey into the world of technology began in domestic appliance controls, winding his way through the consumer electronics, lighting, automotive, aerospace industry from a startup and into machinery. He worked most recently in medical devices. His expertise centers on product development, manufacturing, and capital equipment industrialization.
Furthering the Dry Battery Electrode (DBE) Technology Through Engineering Principles and Business Acumen
Armed with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA, Charles bridges the gap between engineering, science, and business commercialization. His cross-section of knowledge pairs an in-depth understanding of engineering principles with strategic business objectives that move (and create) much-needed markets – like the growing DBE space.
At the core of Charles’ expertise lies his deep understanding of product development and manufacturing processes. This understanding is key to growing a battery equipment manufacturing company in the dry electrode technology space. Charles’ experience includes knowledge of roll-to-roll manufacturing and large-scale capital equipment, plus he’s launched new divisions and product lines into new markets.

Throughout his career, Charles has launched a handful of breakthrough technology startups, led cutting-edge roll-to-roll converting machinery, and launched over 100 successful global products with customers in over 42 countries.
