JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position can be a Sr. Process Engineer, based on experience. The successful incumbent will have experience working with powder processing and evaluation. Experience with Li-ion battery is preferred. The incumbent is expected to be a self-motivated individual willing to perform hands on work in a dynamically changing environment. The incumbent will be responsible for operating the pilot equipment, executing experiments, and documenting process information & results. The team will work together to develop a robust knowledge base.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Plan and design test and experimentation
• Hands-on operation of powder processing equipment and instruments
• Evaluate and analyze test results
• Identify improvement opportunities for the process, equipment, and pilot space
• Support projects as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor or master in chemical engineering, material engineering, or manufacturing related fields
• More than three years of experience
• Experience with lithium-ion battery materials or products (preferred)
